This is the Lost Squadron sponsored Racing P-51 in 1994 at the Reno Air Races. It won 3rd in the Silver race with Kevin Eldridge piloting. The airplane is "Spam Can "and is in the Planes of Fame collection at Chino Airport. Our motorhome was parked directly (3 feet) behind "Spam Can " in this shot with an electric hotdog cooker between us and the airplane. -- Paul |
