I shot "C-46" while laying down on the ramp. I like the
way that the very wide angle lens makes this thing look like a big
cartoon airplane. A corporate collector bought a print of this... a
very big print. When the gallery called me to say that someone wanted
a 40x60 print, I thought, "this is 35mm are they crazy?" so
I did a test print and it looked really great. The loss in clarity
and grain of that size made the shot look as though it was from the
'40s. I think I'll print one for myself.
